Beth Hlas, M.A., tLMFT
Temporary Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Grief & Loss
Life Adjustments and Transitions
Beth is a temporary licensed marriage and family therapist who has always had a passion for helping people and brightening their lives. This passion comes from her personal experiences as a child with ADHD and having a supportive network of therapists throughout her life.
Beth graduated with her undergraduate in human resources. After spending over 10 years in the field, Beth realized what she enjoyed most was assisting people through the struggles in life as well as empowering them to move through these struggles successfully. Beth recently graduated from Mount Mercy University with her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Beth has a special interest in working with children of all ages (even those that never grew up!), couples at any stage of their relationship, and those going through grief and loss. Her wit, humor and spunk will help put people at ease as they discover their own resilience and power.
When not providing therapy, Beth is practicing whole wellness either through yoga, working out, or cooking as well as spending time with her family and their dogs. Beth provides school based therapy services at Shellsburg Elementary School. Beth also provides telehealth and in person sessions at our office.
