At Therapeutic Innovations, PLLC, we implement effective psychotherapy interventions and a relationship that assists you on a journey towards wellness as we encourage you to learn new skills and develop self-reliance when facing any of life issues that we all face from time to time.

It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a quick fix.

Therapy is a healing process that involves participation and investment from the client and therapist alike.  By making small changes in self-defeating behaviors and learning how to identify feelings of sadness, fear, and pain while using learning new skills, together we can bring about life-altering results.

We will walk beside you, help you achieve your goals as our services are personalized to suit your individualized treatment needs, and we go the extra mile to provide you with all the tools you need to overcome and be resilient.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual therapy is provided to help you work through current and/or past issues as you seek comfort and resolution within your life. Services are currently provided in office, via telehealth, and at each school within the Vinton-Shellsburg School District.

COUPLES AND FAMILY THERAPY

Family therapy is provided to allow a safe place for family members to manage and work through difficult situations that limit family functioning. Couples therapy is provided to those individuals who are involved in intimate relationships to foster change and development. Our clinicians are open to providing treatment to the LGBTQ+ community.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH INTERVENTION SERVICES

Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) are provided to children, youth, and young adults aged 4 to 21 to implement and enhance healthy skills. BHIS includes both individual and family sessions. This service focuses on: communication, social skills, conflict resolution, executive functioning, cognitive flexibility, emotional regulation skills, interpersonal relationship skills
